Foundation of Play is a housing and urban development project at the edge of Centretown : the cultural center of downtown Ottawa.
This housing development designed to create environments that encourage a safe place for youth to grow socially, mentally, and physically. The units are designed to support the traditional one bedroom and studio apartments, but also larger apartments intended for young families and young adults looking to move in with friends as a stepping stone into adulthood. The project endeavors to cultivate community and ownership, where many generations can co-exist.
